This timber framed, strawbale lodge was designed and hand built by the artist Carl Schlichting. Intricate details and hand carved beams abound, this lodge is truly a piece of art. With a spacious dining room, office/massage room, 5 roomy bedrooms, 14 XL Twin beds, an upstairs tv room and a multi-couched living room area (more than in photo); you can comfortably have 14 guests enjoy their stay. 4 bathrooms are available and non-stop hot water for the 3 showers and one bath tub. The entire lower floor has a hydronic in-floor heating system with radiators in the upstairs rooms, which keeps the lodge warm and cozy on the snow filled winter nights.
A second dwelling shares this property, in which the caretaker Carl lives. Some farm care activity will take place on the property but rest assured you will find Ravencourt to feel private with plenty of space for your group.
Cozy gathering spaces
With plenty of seating for 14, this room is large and airy. We have 2 new beautiful maple slab tables under construction that will make this room a masterpiece. The tables can be split in 2 for two 8-person seating. Stay tuned for updated table photos.
This beautiful room features two twin XL beds, a deck and a private 3 piece washroom. These new mattresses were recently awarded "Canada's Best Luxury Mattress" by Canadian Living.
This airy room features 3 twin XL beds and some space for stretching. These mattresses were rated "Best Overall Mattress" by Sleepopolis. With a name like that, they must know something.
This room is on the downstairs floor and still needs a photo as we transition for the winter. It will sleep 4 in the 2 - twin XL bunk beds and is adjacent to a 3 piece bathroom. These are brand new and award winning mattresses. Sure to provide a great sleep. Updated photo to come!
This 2 piece bath is on the upstairs floor can be used as a tub or a euro style shower. There is also a second 2 piece, toilet and sink bathroom upstairs, photo not shown.
This 3 piece bath has a nice shower and is adjacent to the Gimli room.
The kitchen is room and very well laid out for maximum functionality. We provide plenty of counter space, sharp knives and everything you need to create and enjoy fantastic meals. We love big dinner parties, and it shows in the kitchen amenities.
This large space has 3 twin XL beds and a private 3 piece washroom. These hybrid coil and cooling foam gel mattresses, will glue your eyes shut.

This 3 piece bathroom is on the downstairs floor and has an interesting tiled shower. It also is located near the hot tub.
