Our Story
The Farmily
Simone and Steve met back in 2008 while working at Baldface Lodge, and they still feel like they are part of that family. Both proprietors have extensive experience in tourism industry and love to host at this impressive home. Now with 2 little boys, they run a small sustainable homestead here alongside Simone's father, Carl the Caretaker, who built this fabulous house.
With on overflowing garden of goodness, they endeavor to eat what they grow. Jazzy the cow keeps the milk flowing and has recently had a calf. With a few pigs grown every year, some ducks and chickens also help to fill the pantries. Deneige the horse brings a calmness, Koa the dog keeps a watchful eye and Cazzy the cat prowls like the queen of the forest.
It takes a team to make it all happen out here, but it is a labour of love.
